You probably haven’t noticed but if you have seen a case of oranges at your local produce store you have seen a telescoping box. Two HSC or half slotted containers where the top slides fully down over the bottom piece of the box. Not all telescoping boxes need to be full-telescoping boxes. The box can be made to only telescope past the other piece by a few inches. In some cases for very large type gaylord boxes this is the only option because of limitations with the machinery. We sell many customers that order custom size boxes in this style and use different closing methods for fastening the corners and finishing the package. There are some that will hot glue the corners, others use staples and some use tape or strapping for a tight closure. This is only for custom run size boxes. The tele-boxes we stock all meet the size criteria and have already been joined and glued for easy assembly and setup.
