Tall Boxes are ideal for shipping golf clubs and other long slender items. Rather than loading the product from the top opening, tall boxes allow the product to be loaded from the 2 smallest dimensions or what we call a side loading box. This makes for a strong corrugated package because the flaps do not run the entire length of the box.

For example, if you were shipping a set of golf clubs or a driver you would choose a 6 x 6 x 60 inch box.
This type box would load through the 6 x 6 opening and would require very little tape to secure and close the flaps on the box. Guns, lamps, extrusions and other long narrow items are shipped in tall boxes. Don’t confuse tall boxes and long boxes. Long boxes load from the top and are configured differently than a tall box. The orientation of a corrugated shipping box is determined specifically by the order of the listed dimensions.
